Rockin' The Lego Party!

It was a real no-brainer that the theme for Kaleb's 8th birthday would be Lego.  Seriously, the boy is Lego obsessed!  And once we saw the awesome Lego cake pops online, the deal was sealed.  Lego party it was!

Please pardon the bazillion photos, but I had to share how much fun I had creating a Lego party!  ;)  I was seriously DREAMING about Lego this past week, with all the crafting and cutting and baking and icing I was doing.  But I sure was having a blast "creating".

And, more importantly, the birthday boy (and his gang of friends) had a great time celebrating!
The Lego (Marshmallow) Pops - the inspiration for the party!
Had a blast with these!  So many cute faces to draw!
Loot bags!  These were a blast as well!
Had a lot of fun with the Lego table setting!
Place settings.  The boys really loved the different faces!
Up close of the name cards and green bubble wrap table runner, ideas I found online!
Centerpiece!
The girls and I made this together on this while Kaleb was at school!
The pinata! Used to be a Vector box!
Two pictures, because I'm pretty proud of my hard work! ;)
The little kids table!
My cute little helper with her fake food for practice.
Cuppy cakes, with the Anakin Lego candle holder.

Let the party (and chaos and noise) begin!

Andy ran games.  (In between hockey periods!)
Jorja was in there with the big boys!
Measuring their creations to find a winner!
Lego on a spoon race!
Sibling love, after Jorja gave Kaleb his present.
Pinata time!  That Vector box took a beating!
Happy Birthday to Kaleb! (Love Andy's face here!)
My boy!

I will have to be stealing some of those ideas! When we were at Legoland last year I picked up a cake pan in the shape of a lego figure. Haven't used it yet , but maybe Connor's #7 will be a lego party. Everything looked great, Happy Birthday Kaleb from the Murray's!
