Is not really a baby anymore is she?!
Took her to the dentist for the first time today. She'd been looking forward to it for ages (wanted to be just like her big bro and sis) and pretty much ran into the room when they finally called her name. She did amazingly! And no cavities! (Wish I could say the same about the big kids. :( Feel like such a failure when I hear they need to come back for some fillings.)
As a result of our dentist visit, she is now upstairs in her bed sleeping soother-less! I can hardly believe I am saying that. This girl LOVES her soo like crazy!
Apparently her front teeth are showing signs of this girl's soother love, which is not good. :( I kinda knew this might be the case, so had kinda been warning her what the outcome of our dentist visit might be.
So far, we've decided not to take it away completely. (I just don't think either of us can quit this thing cold turkey!!) She's been told she can have it for 5 minutes for her nap and bedtime as a way to calm and relax her. I wasn't sure how she'd do tonight, but she had her 5 minutes, gave it up willingly and I didn't hear from her again.
Now I'm off to bed. Early as I'm not sure what the rest of the night will look like!

That's great! Maybe she'll have made up her mind that she doesn't need it for tomorrow. We know letting go of the soother is tough, we've been there! We'll be praying for you guys :)
i'm glad the first move went well...i hope it keeps going smoothly :)
oooh a big day! Loving that cheeky grin!
She did great! I think this might go better than I anticipated. (Please God!)
Please keep me updated on the soother-getting-rid-of-process. I've been wanting to do it for months, but wanted to wait until we were settled after our move. Would love suggestions and tips!!
