On a Picture Roll

I have been working on this picture post for ages. It is from our trip down south to see Gramma and Grampa back in June. But I've decided to just put it up for y'all anyways, as I know there are some reli's (Hi Great Grandma Sinclair!) that would enjoy seeing it. Forgive the lack of witty writing (ha, ha - I flatter myself) and just enjoy the images of my beauties! :P

I wrote a little about our trip to Camp Cherokee/Judson, where Andy was leading worship. It was not the most pleasant trip (understatement), with the heat and humidity, whiny kids and MICE! I am now able to look at these pictures and kind of laugh. A little.

The "Dew Drop Inn", which was our home at Camp Judson. The mice took that "drop inn" literally! :(

A rare smile during a hot and whiny week

Showing you how the mice ate his new shirt!

This look says it all! I'm sure my face looked about the same!

A few rare moments on the dock, braving the heat!

My diva!
We took a trip to Lake Lanier. We brought some yummy Moe's for lunch (we NEED these in Canada) and had our own little tailgate party. Until the red ant showed up. Everywhere!

Family photo!
Father's Day was also celebrated in Atlanta this year. Kenna picked these yummy cup cakes from Publix.

My gorgeous boys!

Grampa!

She's got spunk!

And of course, we had to go to the awesome Georgia Aquarium. We had not been on our last trip to Atlanta, so the kids enjoyed it like it was their first time. (And for Jorja it was.)

On our way in

This year we bumped into both aqaurium "mascots" (a first for us).

This is the Nemo-like Deepo (the aquarium is sponsored by Home Depot).

And a whale shark. Not sure of his name. But he looks like he is trying to get away from us in this picture!

And for the first time, we visited The World of Coke, which is right across the Georgia Aquarium. We actually really enjoyed ourselves, with a cool 4-d "movie" and a huge tasting room where you can taste different Coke products from around the world. We also bumped into their mascot, the Coke bear. He was neat with an animatronic head and the kids thought he was very cool.

And this was taken in the airport, getting ready to head home. It ended up being a 14 hour journey from door to door, but at this point we are still looking pretty fresh and happy! Good think the picture was not taken at the end of the journey. ;)

And that is it. Already looking forward to next year's visit. We have such a great time being at Gramma and Grampa's house, where were are so well taken care of (read: spoiled)! :)

Your kids are adorable! I just clicked next blog at the top of my page and it lead me here! It looks like you had a lot of fun :) I laughed really hard about the picture with the shirt that the mice chewed on, that happened to me too!
